Mrs. Kashmira Murmu is an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Ravenshaw University, Cuttack, Odisha. She holds a Ph.D. from Ravenshaw University, along with M.A. and M.Phil. degrees in Philosophy from Utkal University. A UGC NET-JRF qualified scholar, she joined Ravenshaw University as Assistant Professor in 2022. An accomplished academic, she secured 3rd rank in M.A. Philosophy at Utkal University and received the Young Scholar's Essay-cum-Seminar Award from the Indian Council of Philosophical Research (ICPR) in 2019. She has presented research papers at numerous state, national, and international conferences and has delivered invited lectures on Indian Knowledge Systems, Tribal Philosophy, and Indigenous Studies. Her scholarly work includes book chapters and research articles on Indian and Tribal Philosophy. Beyond academia, Mrs. Murmu is also a noted literary figure with two published poetry collections and has previously worked as a content writer for media platforms. She was also recognized with first prizes in Poetry and Drama at Oxfam India's Inter-State Youth Competition in 2019.
