Dasarath Hembram is a distinguished Santali writer, poet, author, columnist, publisher, and editor whose literary journey has spanned over a decade. Renowned for his thought-provoking writings, he has regularly contributed articles, columns, and poems to several leading Odia newspapers while also enriching Santali literature through his creative works. He is also the publisher and editor of the literary magazines Aadibhumi and Bhanjabir, which have played an important role in promoting indigenous literature and culture. His publications in both Santali and Odia have earned him widespread recognition among readers and literary circles. In recognition of his outstanding contribution to literature, he has been honoured by the All India Santali Writers Association and several other prestigious organizations. His notable works include Ontor Jolon, Sawnta Bati, Nison Okto, Jiyal Umul, Atrupta Abhilasa, Ejabat Ekathi, Mukti Abhisika, Paridhi Swapna , which continue to inspire and influence contemporary readers.
